Who We Are
Strength in Body & Mind
Nick Pratap is an established trainer in the field. He has an abundance of experience working as a Certified Clinical Exercise Physiologist in both hospital and community settings. He works alongside cardiologists, nurses and other clinical exercise physiologists to implement exercise programs for individuals living with cardiovascular disease, COPD, diabetes, strokes, cancer and metabolic disease. Nick is also a Practicing Kinesiologist and has clinical experience prescribing exercises to patients who suffer from a wide array of injuries including motor vehicle accidents, workplace claims, sports injuries and more.

Our Services

ICBC & Active Rehab
If you have suffered an injury in a motor vehicle accident, in the workplace or just exhibit muscular imbalances and are in constant pain, our rehabilitation program is for you. Your journey starts with a postural and dynamic assessment to determine which areas of the body we need to work on in order to correct the dysfunction. Through corrective exercise techniques, clients will gradually progress through various stages of the corrective exercise continuum until they feel comfortable and confident returning to normal daily living.

Clinical Exercise Physiology
If you currently live with a chronic disease such as cardiovascular disease, COPD, metabolic disease or have the risk factors to develop these diseases and are looking for a healthcare professional with the knowledge and background on how to correctly prescribe exercises for these populations, then our exercise physiologist can help create a program for you. Working alongside your doctor, our clinical exercise physiologist will create a program specifically tailored to you based on your limitations, medications etc. Your blood pressure, heart rate, rating of perceived exertion and blood sugars (if diabetic) will be monitored along the way to indicate where progress is being made. We also provide exercise prescription to individuals diagnosed with cancer and are currently going through treatment, as well as cancer survivors looking to increase strength, endurance and their overall well being. Many areas of fitness including cardiorespiratory, strength, balance, flexibility and breathing will be addressed as we progress through your specific plan. A doctors referral will be required before beginning the program.

Personal Training
We provide personal training programs for clients who are wanting to take their training to the next level, or for clients that have never stepped foot in a gym but would like to make a change to their current lifestyle. Whether preparing for a marathon, getting ready for the sports season or simply wanting to fit into those pair of jeans again, our trainers will create a program to help you meet your goals!

Nutrition Coaching
If you are trying to lose weight, put on muscle, get ready for a competition, or just want to gain knowledge on proper nutrition habits, this is a great program for you. Your trainer will design a nutrition plan specific to your goals and work with you to devise strategies on proper eating habits to help you achieve your nutritional goals.
